About the project

  • Client: Alpine Game Meats
  • Category:
Alpine meats had a unique issue with large shading making the flat roof too small for the correct size system and a curved roof that would see greatly reduced generation from traditional solar due to its multi directional orientation. The answer was to fit Tigo SmartSolar to allow each solar panel to work to its best ability allowing the curved roof to be fully utilised.

ABout The Project

Alpine meats had a unique issue with large shading making the flat roof too small for the correct size system and a curved roof that would see greatly reduced generation from traditional solar due to its multi directional orientation. The answer was to fit Tigo SmartSolar to allow each solar panel to work to its best ability allowing the curved roof to be fully utilised. Additionally, Business owner Ewen, loved the fact that his system was being continually monitored for performance. Ewen loved the results so much he has also since installed a 12kW system to his retail shop in Gloucester.

Alpine Game Meats are enjoying average annual kWH savings of 40,283.
