Our Lorentz Solar Power pool pumps are equipped with a low voltage 48 volt 600 watt residential or 1800watt commercial DC brushless motor. Electricity is supplied by a designed configuration of DC solar panels. This DC power is controlled by a specially designed controller that manages the pumps speed while also utilising MPPT technology to capture the maximum energy available from the sun via the solar panels. There are no inverters, just straight DC current from the panels directly to the Solar Power pool pump. The combined Lorentz Solar Power Pool Pump and Smart Controller are so efficient that the solar power pool pump will continue to run even on partially cloudy days.
