Mainly to the SCE team as the Komatsu management had an in depth understanding of the importance associated with detailed monitoring. This was due to the fact that Komatsu have a similar in-depth monitoring system within all their excavation machinery, allowing them to ensure maximum performance while being advised early of any upcoming and unseen issues. Because of this they could instantly see the huge benefits of having a similar monitoring system within their solar system. The Tigo SmartSolar system married in perfectly with Komatsu’s monitoring philosophy and was a perfect fit for the company.

True to their philosophy the Komatsu team are all over the monitoring of the SmartSolar and are loving the detailed information available to them.

Komatsu are enjoying average annual kWH savings of 145,608.
