World leading coffee roasters, Seven Miles, knew it was time to reduce their business costs and their overall business carbon footprint. They understood that the best way to do both, was to install a high-quality safe Future proof SmartSolar system.
The installation was tricky at the Balgowlah head office, as it had many solar challenges that needed to be overcome for a solid result. Several rooftop flue penetrations, large shading, high voltage cables to the north of the roof and several different roof aspects proved that SmartSolar was designed for this type of application.
Facility manager, Stephane, asked why other solar companies were making recommendations for smaller systems, whilst SCE was designing a much larger system. The answer was simple, without Tigo DC managed SmartSolar, the site challenges as listed above would have rendered a traditional legacy system useless. Given the multiple shading issues presented at different times of the day, Seven Miles needed as much DC solar module power as we could install. The outstanding results have yet again proven the advantages of Tigo DC managed SmartSolar from SCE.
