ABout The Project
Asquith Veterinary hospital is a new facility catering for the veterinary needs in the area. Brad wanted to reduce his business costs and utilise the available roof space to its maximum potential. After reviewing all the available systems Brad was impressed with the ability to visually see that his investment was working as it should.
The 10-year parts and labour warranty on everything ensured no additional costs on the system for the next decade and the weekly proactive performance check has already proved itself after a large storm dislodged a few panels which were quickly rectified and made good.
Due to the limited roof space and the system size require, different tilt angles were required to enable a larger system to be installed. The Tigo DC managed SmartSolar allows maximum performance with different array azimuths and pitch ensuring that the entire system can work at its peak performance without any energy leaks.
The system generates 92.9kWh per day and 33,908kWh annually providing approximate saving of $8,836 from the electricity bill. The system was eligible for 405 STC’s providing a $14,175 point of sale discount as an additional incentive.
